Not just my new favourite BBQ hot sauce, but my new favourite BBQ sauce overall! It’s definitely tastier than your typical Masterfoods BBQ sauce. Taste-wise, the BBQ flavour isn't overwhelming. You do get that smoky, tangy kick, but underneath it all is a caramel-like, burnt sugar sweetness. It’s much better than most, and as a result, it’s far more versatile. You can put this on fish, burgers, pizza, pasta—almost anything you can think of, and it won't feel out of place.
In terms of spice, it’s similar to Uncle Mungo’s Bhut Jolokia BBQ, though probably a little less spicy. Or roughly 10–20 times hotter than Tabasco’s Habanero hot sauce. But what does that mean, exactly? Well, for me and my tolerance, I’d rate it a 6.5/10—quite spicy, but not unmanageable. For a spice newbie, though, this could easily rate 9 or 10 on the heat scale. In other words, it might be a bit too hot for the average person. But with just a few small drops on your favourite dish, it could be tolerable.
After all, everyone should try this sauce—it’s that good!
